History of Company
LANARI ΜΗΧΑΝΟΥΡΓΕΙΟΝ started out as a personal company with the name of the founder DIMITRIOS K. LANARIS, in Levadia, Greece, in 1977.
The company engaged in the agribusiness industries such as cotton, tomato, and cereal with trade of equipment, construction and repairs of machinery and mechanical components.
In 1980 Greece joined the E.U. and Dimitrios K. Lanaris identified a new business segment for future development. Greece was by far the largest cotton producer in E.U. and Dimitrios recognizing this fact shifted its focus to import and to produce machinery for modern cultivation of cotton using advanced technologies such as complete cotton production lines (MURRAY-LUMMUS-CONTINENTAL-CONSOLIDATED), cotton pickers trucks (John Deer) and with systematic monitoring and continuing education provides support to more than twenty cotton industries.
In the early 2000s, focusing our interest in the field of the environmental protection have created a new business sector, recycling machinery. Initialy we were involved in the manufacture of tyre recycling shredders and following, trade with great variety of equipment for special constructures for the processing, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, PET, wood and various other waste.
The company was reorganized in 2013 under the name LANARI ΜΗΧΑΝΟΥΡΓΕΙΟΝ. The international technology and its adaptation in the Greek market became our goal and to realize that we begun to cooperate with foreign companies, emphasizing at the same field.
